There is no one size fits all solution. Your skin, lifestyle, and acne type are unique, which is why every client receives a fully personalized acne treatment plan.

Personalized Acne Treatment Plans

Your plan may include:

  • A customized morning and evening skincare routine
  • Professional grade and prescription products
  • In clinic acne treatments scheduled around your progress
  • Lifestyle and habit adjustments to support healing

We explain why each step matters, so you understand your skin and feel confident in the process.

Our in clinic acne treatments take place at our Seattle location and are designed to accelerate results while supporting long term skin health.

Our Process

Step 1: Acne Consultation

Come in and find out what our acne program is all about!

During your consultation, we evaluate your acne type, skincare routine, makeup, diet, medications, and habits that may be contributing to breakouts. Our consultation will drive deep into your acne journey, bring a notebook!

Step 2: Customized Prescription Homecare

You’ll receive a customized acne safe homecare routine tailored to your skin’s needs.

  • Average initial investment: $250-400
  • Products last 10–12 weeks when used as directed

Consistency with homecare is required and essential for clearing acne.

Step 3: Bi-Weekly Acne Treatments

Professional acne treatments help reduce congestion, inflammation, and bacteria.

Treatments may include cleansing, chemical peels or enzymes, extractions, high frequency, and LED therapy.

Step 4: Clear Acne in as little as 4 – 6 Months

Most clients see noticeable improvement within 6 weeks, with acne clearing typically achieved in 3–6 months when the program is followed consistently.

Clear skin depends on:

  • Using acne safe products exclusively
  • Attending scheduled treatments or check ins
  • Committing to lifestyle and habit changes

When these elements align, results are sustainable.

Prevent Future Breakouts. Not Just Temporary Fixes.

Clearing acne is only part of the goal. Preventing it from returning is just as important.

Once acne is under control, many clients continue with:

  • Maintenance homecare routines
  • In clinic tune up treatments every 4–6 weeks
  • Ongoing guidance to support skin health

This proactive approach keeps skin balanced, resilient, and clear long-term.

Reduce Acne Scaring with Microneedling

Post acne scars can be treated with microneedling. Microneedling with SkinPen is a minimally invasive procedure that can be effective in reducing the appearance of acne scars by stimulating the skin's natural collagen production process, essentially "filling in" the depressions left by acne scarring.

A series of 3 - 6treatments, each 4 weeks apart is recommended. Maintenance every 6 months thereafter.

We don’t just treat breakouts, we teach clients how to maintain clear skin for life.

What Makes Our Acne Treatment Different?

Unlike traditional dermatology offices that rely heavily on oral prescriptions like accutane, antibiotics and birth control with harsh side effects, our acne treatment approach focuses on restoring skin health naturally, holistically through education and consistency.

What Is Accutane (Isotretinoin)?

Accutane, also known as isotretinoin, is a powerful oral medication used to treat acne by permanently shrinking the oil glands. However, Accutane carries serious potential side effects. More than 7,000 lawsuits have been filed against Roche Pharmaceuticals, which stopped making Accutane in 2009, but many dermatologist still prescribe generic versions.

A high percentage of acne sufferers experience only temporary relief from isotretinoin because it addresses surface symptoms without correcting the root cause. When treatment stops or the skin becomes over-dried, the barrier weakens, oil production rebounds, inflammation increases, and acne often returns sometimes worse than before.

At LEINE, we consider Accutane a band-aid approach. Our goal is always to help clients achieve clear skin in the safest, most sustainable way possible.

SkinPen® Microneedling

Treatment of Acne Scarring

At LEINE, acne scarring is treated with SkinPen® microneedling, the first FDA-cleared microneedling device. SkinPen creates precise micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate the body’s natural collagen and elastin production, helping to soften depressed acne scars and improve overall texture and tone.

SkinPen microneedling is effective for many common types of acne scarring, including shallow boxcar and rolling scars, and is safe for a wide range of skin tones when performed by a trained provider.

Most clients benefit from a series of 3–6 SkinPen treatments, spaced approximately four weeks apart. Gradual improvement continues for several months as new collagen forms, with maintenance treatments recommended every six months as needed.
