We begin by assessing the specific type of acne you're experiencing and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to not only help bring your acne under control but also provide ongoing lifestyle guidance to support long-term management and prevention.

The Clear Skin Solution specializes in treating moderate to severe Inflamed, non-inflamed, and combination acne. It combines the power of Face Reality clinical-grade home-care products that are customized for your type of acne and skin with a series of monthly treatments that facilitate the clearing of your skin.

You will learn about other aggravating factors that make you break out like foods, medications, cosmetics, stress, and common ingredients in skincare formulations that might be clogging your pores (even professional and prescription products).

After analyzing your skin and doing a test to determine your skin's tolerance for professional-strength products, you will be given a personalized product regimen specific to your acne type, with guidance on how and when to use your new products. 

These products are specifically formulated for acneic skin and are guaranteed not to clog your pores. Using ONLY these products for the duration of your acne program combined with bi-monthly or monthly in-clinic treatments, will bring you to the result you have been hoping for – clear skin!

We do not accept insurance. However, you can use an FSA or HSA plan to help cover the costs.

We are what most people would call a “med spa” and have a medical director that is on our advisory board, as required for certain services we offer. However, we are not a dermatology office. We specialize in acne, post acne care and management when people have seen a dermatologist and still cannot get clear skin.

As an aesthetician, I specialize in providing a no medication approach to acne treatment, focusing on solutions that promote overall skin health and balance. For clients seeking to avoid medications with potentially harmful side effects or those preferring non-invasive options, an aesthetician like myself is an ideal choice for managing acne.

Unlike traditional dermatology practices, I am not influenced by the constraints of pharmaceutical companies or appointment quotas. This allows me to dedicate the time necessary to thoroughly assess your acne and take a comprehensive, 360-degree approach to your skin in a 45-75 minute appointment.

In contrast, dermatologists often treat acne with antibiotics or other medications, which may come with side effects. During a typical consultation, which may last 15 minutes or less, patients are often prescribed medications and sent on their way. While antibiotics can help manage acne in the short term, they are also known to disrupt gut health and contribute to antibiotic resistance, which may lead to recurring acne. Additionally, medications like Accutane are often prescribed and associated with side effects such as joint pain, vision changes, dry skin, dry eyes, and chapped lips.

If you are pregnant or nursing, there may be some products that we will recommend getting your doctor’s OK on before starting.

This includes: Accutane (Isotretinoin), antibiotics (oral and topical), Retinoids, Thyroid medications, Azelaic Acid, Capaxone, Spironolactone, Birth Control, and more.

Most clients see results within the first 8-10 weeks of acne bootcamp.

Acne can take up to 90 days to fully develop within the follicle. Throughout the Acne Bootcamp, the treatments and products are designed to accelerate cell turnover. It's not unusual to experience a purging phase between weeks 3 to 7, as we work to encourage the release of blockages that have already formed beneath the surface. This process helps clear the skin by addressing existing congestion.

Certain foods can contribute to acne flare-ups by increasing inflammation or triggering hormonal imbalances. During the program, we may recommend adjustments to your diet, such as reducing high-glycemic foods or dairy, which have been linked to acne development, in order to support clearer skin.

There is no age requirement for our program; however, we ask that parents actively participate in the process to help ensure the best outcomes for younger clients. We highly recommend that parents attend the consultation to ensure everyone is aligned and fully informed.
